All charters are subject to vessel availability and Rabbit Hole Sailing, LLC's screening, crew qualification, and approval requirements. Submission of a charter request does not guarantee approval.

Holiday Charter Season
Chartering continues throughout the holiday season. Standard charter rates remain available, and special VIP Holiday Charter Package Rates are available for extended charters of four to ten days. A limited number of designated Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's dates are reserved exclusively for VIP Access Pass Holders.
Standard Fall Charter Rates
Standard Fall Charter Rates apply throughout the Fall Charter Season and remain available during the November 22 through January 3 Holiday Charter Season, subject to the designated VIP-only holiday dates described below. Weekday rates apply Monday through Thursday. Weekend rates apply Friday through Sunday. For extended charters, the applicable weekday and weekend daily rates are combined first, then the published multi-day discount is applied.

VIP Access Pass Discount on Standard Charters
Active VIP Access Pass Holders receive an additional 10% discount on standard published charter rates. For standard multi-day charters, the VIP discount is applied after the applicable multi-day discount. The standard 10% VIP discount does not apply to the special VIP Holiday Charter Package Rates listed below.
1–3 Day Holiday Charters
Yes, you can still take SV Rabbit Hole out for a day, weekend, or long weekend during the holiday season. One-, two-, and three-day charters remain available between November 22, 2026 and January 3, 2027 at standard published rates and applicable standard discounts. The only exception is when a requested charter includes one or more of the designated VIP-only holiday dates listed below. If your charter includes a designated VIP-only date, an active VIP Access Pass is required regardless of charter length. Outside of the designated VIP-only dates, approved non-VIP charterers may continue to request available charters at standard published rates and discounts.

VIP Holiday Charter Package Rates
Looking for a longer holiday escape? Approved charterers who hold an active VIP Access Pass may take advantage of special flat-rate Holiday Charter Packages for charters of four to ten consecutive days during the Holiday Charter Season.

These Holiday Charter Package Rates are special flat rates and replace the normal multi-day charter discount and standard 10% VIP Access Pass discount for the qualifying charter. No additional charter discount is applied to the Holiday Charter Package Rates.

Once you and your required crew have completed Rabbit Hole Sailing's charter approval process, you may purchase a 12-month VIP Access Pass in connection with your holiday charter reservation. The VIP Access Pass is $695 for 12 months. Purchase of a VIP Access Pass does not itself constitute charter approval or guarantee vessel availability.

Prospective VIP Access Pass Holders must complete Rabbit Hole Sailing's standard screening and charter approval process. Purchase of a VIP Access Pass does not constitute charter approval or guarantee vessel availability. Approved charterers may purchase a VIP Access Pass in connection with a qualifying holiday charter request. A limited number of VIP Access Passes are available. For sailors who charter several times each year, the VIP Access Pass may quickly pay for itself.
Check-Out Sail
$695 per personA Check-Out Sail gives experienced sailors an opportunity to demonstrate competency aboard SV Rabbit Hole while becoming familiar with the vessel and Rabbit Hole Sailing's operating procedures.
- 4–6 hour competency evaluation aboard SV Rabbit Hole with an approved instructor or evaluator
- One or two sailors may attempt qualification during the session
- Vessel orientation and competency discussion
- Evaluation of docking, close-quarters maneuvering, sail handling, reefing, seamanship, navigation, safety procedures, and vessel systems
- Post-sail evaluation and qualification discussion
A Check-Out Sail is a competency evaluation. Completion does not guarantee charter approval. All charter approvals remain at the discretion of Rabbit Hole Sailing, LLC and may include operating restrictions, additional training or experience requirements, or other conditions appropriate to the sailor, vessel, and intended charter.
Instructor-Led Skill Development
Instructor-led charters may be available for sailors preparing for a Check-Out Sail or seeking additional experience aboard SV Rabbit Hole. Skill Development sessions may focus on areas such as vessel orientation and systems, docking and close-quarters maneuvering, sail handling and reefing, navigation and passage planning, crew coordination and seamanship, and preparation for extended-boundary sailing.
Standard charter rates plus instructional fees may apply. Experience and certification requirements vary based on the intended training area and operating boundaries. Instructor-led charters are intended for skill refinement and seamanship development. They are not substitutes for formal certification courses. Formal US Sailing certification courses are offered separately through Onward Sailing, a US Sailing Accredited Keelboat School. Maximum course capacity: 6 students plus 1 instructor.
