On July 4, 2025, Rabbit Hole had the honor of playing host to a very special milestone as Dwayne Sullivan asked Johane Amirault an unforgettable question while sailing on San Francisco Bay.

Dwayne, a respected sailing instructor, and Johane, a longtime member of Club Nautique, met through the sailing community—proof once again that time on the water has a way of bringing people together in the most meaningful ways. Celebrating their engagement aboard Rabbit Hole on Independence Day made the moment even more fitting: a day about freedom, possibility, and new beginnings.
With the Bay providing the backdrop—sparkling water, summer breeze, and fireworks lighting the evening sky—it was a celebration filled with joy, connection, and more than a few happy tears. These are the moments that remind us why we love sailing and the community that surrounds it.
