Rabbit Hole is a 2021 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 based at Safe Harbor Ballena Isle in Alameda, California.

Designed for comfort, performance, and confident cruising, she offers an exceptional platform for bareboat charters, captained sailing experiences, instructor-led skill development, and advanced cruising adventures on San Francisco Bay and beyond.

Originally commissioned into professional charter and sailing-school service in 2021, Rabbit Hole has helped hundreds of sailors build confidence, earn certifications, and create unforgettable memories on the water. Today, she begins a new chapter as the flagship vessel of Rabbit Hole Sailing, LLC.

Growing the Fleet

Rabbit Hole Sailing is continually looking for ways to create more opportunities for sailors to get on the water.

We are currently in negotiations to acquire one or more J/24s to expand our sailing programs.

The J/24 is one of the world’s most successful one-design keelboats and has trained generations of sailors. Responsive, forgiving, and exciting to sail, it provides an outstanding platform for developing strong boat-handling skills, sail trim, teamwork, and confidence.

When added to our fleet, the J/24 program is expected to support:

For those looking to pursue nationally recognized certifications, Rabbit Hole Sailing proudly works alongside Pacific Wayfinder Sailing Academy (PWSA), a US Sailing Accredited Keelboat School.

PWSA offers a structured progression of certification courses—from Basic Cruising through Bareboat Cruising, Coastal Navigation, Coastal Passage Making, and beyond.

Together, Rabbit Hole Sailing and Pacific Wayfinder Sailing Academy provide a clear pathway from your first charter to advanced cruising and passagemaking, allowing sailors to continue learning while spending more time on the water.
